Unscrewing the Luminometer Injector

Parts and Materials Required

• Slotted screwdriver
• Customer provided absorbent pad

Removal Procedure

1. Place a customer provided absorbent pad on the Sample Bay cover to avoid damage to the system.

   Caution—Lines may be full of fluid and may leak or kink.

2. Using either your fingers or a slotted screwdriver, loosen the two screws that secure the Luminometer injectors. The screws are only finger-tight.

   Note—The screws are captured in the injector and will not come completely out.

   

3. Lift the injector out of the system.

   .

4. Inspect the injector for clogs.
5. Place the injector into an empty container and set it on the absorbent pad.

Replacement Procedure

1. Insert the injector into the Luminometer cover.

   Note—The injector tubing routes toward the right side of the module.

2. Finger tighten the Luminometer injectors into the Luminometer lid.

   

3. Remove the absorbent pad.
